Cathy was born in Whitehorse, Yukon and lived there until moving to Terrace in
northern B.C. when she was 9. She has been moving south all her life, finally settling in
Victoria in November 1996. She and husband Greg were married in May 2005.
Originally members of Pipeline Congregational Church, they began attending Victoria
Alliance Church in 2008 when the two congregations were sharing Pastors and
meeting space, becoming full members of VAC in 2013.
Cathy and Greg are both fully retired from careers with the B.C. Government. They
enjoy serving their church family in various capacities, and have also gone on several
short-term missions to Esperanza and Gleanings for the Hungry (California), as well as
serving in the kitchen at Camp Imadene. Cathy has served on the current VAC Board of
Elders since 2019.
Cathy and Greg enjoy family gatherings with Greg’s four adult children and their
families, and especially being Grampa and Grandma to their five grandchildren! In their
spare time, they love to ski or play pickleball when the weather cooperates, and to get
together with friends for meals.
Cathy’s favourite verses are Philippians 4:6-7.
