On Tuesday night, our Board at VAC approved several revisions to our Covid Protocol Policy in an effort to balance safety with our desire to continue our in person ministries.

Noteable are the following changes:

  • New choice for our families with children.  We have been feeling the loss of having children integrated into our worship space.  Beginning this Sunday families may choose if they like to have their children join in the sanctuary for worship at 10:45am.  For those families who may be uncomfortable with that situation, we welcome them to bring their children directly to their designated program areas at 11am, where they will be joined by the other children at that time.  
  • Masks are now required for all attendees over 5 years of age.
  • Food and Beverage service may be provided as long as it is consumed seated and distanced. Masks are only to be removed while actively eating and drinking.
  • We continue to encourage those who are unvaccinated to access our online ministries.

In addition note that as of Tuesday, November 30th, the PHO has imposed a new restriction upon churches that do not require proof of vaccination for attendance.  This affects our Sunday morning service and limits our in person attendance to 50% of our maximum capacity.  Please be patient with us as we adapt to this new requirement.
