We want to thank the many folks who took the time to complete our recent survey regarding our return to in person gatherings. As a staff and leadership team, the information in your responses has been very helpful.
As our province continues to see the number of Covid cases drop, we wanted to once again reach out with some information about our approach as a worship community in regards to in person gatherings, and what you can expect over the next several weeks.
- We are taking steps toward a return to in person gatherings. We are planning, and revising our Covid protocols for onsite gatherings, and look forward to welcoming more and more people onsite in the next several weeks. We have begun with returning members of our staff and leadership team to their onsite offices a few days a week. As well, we have returned to in person staff meetings and CLT meetings. These small gatherings are giving us the opportunity to refine our in person practices, and ensure a safe and smooth return for others soon.
- On Sunday, July 11th we will begin hosting weekly Simple Startup Services in our sanctuary. These gatherings will be limited to 50 people, in accordance with our PHO guidelines, and will require all participants be pre-registered and pre-screened. We are looking forward to seeing the return of our faith community into our worship space for a scaled down service that will allow us all the opportunity to gather, pray, reflect, and be encouraged. More details will be available in the coming week.
- We will be continuing with our two service format beginning Sunday, July 11th, with our Online Service moving to 9:30am, and our in person Simple Startup Service beginning at 10:45am. Our hope is that having these two options available will provide continued connection for all our faith community, near and far.
