Several decades ago, Pipeline Congregational Church dreamed of having a church facility of their own. They were a warm and generous group of worshipers, who had rented at various locations in Victoria, including the Uvic Cincenta, McCall's Funeral Home and the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Through what could only be seen as a God-inspired notion, the congregation spent what was to be one summer worshiping together with Victoria Alliance Church on Townley Street. The congregations grew to love each other and trust in what God was stirring, and eventually joined fully together their resources and membership.
One final peice of that "joining together" has been in the works for several years. Today, it is with great joy and immense gratitude that Victoria Alliance Church announces that it has been gifted from the remaining Pipeline organization the funds (over $2 million) to seed a Future Facility Fund.
The Victoria Alliance Future Facility Fund will propel forward the hopes and dreams of the many sacrificial givers from Pipeline who over the years felt passionate about ensuring a continuous
evangelical presence in Victoria that is welcoming, Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, and
committed to the mission of making Jesus known.
We praise God for all that He has led us through and trust in His unfailing love and bountiful provision. The Board has been working hard to both see the completion of this fund transfer, but also to ensure that we have healthy guidelines in place and wise counsel as to its investment. Please continue to pray for the Board as we seek to glorify God in the process of stewarding this gift.
