Join us November 2nd as we host Cres Casimong, our District Intercultural Fluency Specialist to reflect with us, challenge us, and move us toward a continual path of developing our skills that allow us to move across cultural differences with greater ease and appreciation. Registration is now open, and early registration is encouraged.  REGISTRATION DEADLINE is October 17th.

REGISTER HERE NOW.

Included in the registration ($150 *see note below):

  • A research based assessment tool (IDI) that helps identify your personal intercultural development so far, and charts a path forward ($120 of your registration pays for this assessment tool that must be completed by no later than Oct 25).
  • Group debriefing on our training day with Cres Casimong, and an overall assessment of our community intercultural fluency at this point.
  • An overview of the Theological grounding for our work toward greater Intercultural Fluency.
  • A 45 minute 1-on-1 follow up zoom call (scheduled with Cres at a later date) to review your personal results and create your own development plan.
  • Light lunch on Saturday Nov 2nd.

Cres Casimong has been the lead pastor of New Life Alliance Church since October 2004. He is the National Coordinator of the Conference of Filipino Alliance Ministries (CFAM), a consortium of Filipino Alliance Churches of C&MA Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Ambrose University, a Master of Divinity from Carey Theological College, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Carolina University. Cres currently resides in Surrey, BC with his wife Ninia. Together they have three children and two grandchildren.

*A special Note about our Registration Pricing.  We believe the value of our training is far beyond the registration fee, however we understand that unbudgeted expenses can become a barrier for some.  In an effort to keep this training available to as many as possible, we have set aside a few registrations to be included in our Pay What You Can program.  In limited number, these registrations allow an individual to prayerfully discern what they are able to contribute to offset the cost of these training opportunities.  If you have further questions, please speak to a staff member in the office.
